Welcome to True Physician Care, the primary care practice of Erica Hwang, MD, FACP.

A highly respected internist in the DC Metropolitan area since 1997, Dr. Hwang is pleased to continue serving patients through her committed and compassionate practice of Internal Medicine.

Dr. Hwang combines the science and art of medicine in delivering thorough, attentive care to each of her patients.

Due to the amount of time she devotes to each patient, Dr. Hwang's practice is now closed to new patients. There is no active waitlist at this time. Dr. Hwang will honor prior requests to take on specific family members of her current patients, but can no longer accept additional family members as her practice is at capacity.

For Current Patients

Dr. Hwang will be out of the office Friday, July 26th through Tuesday, August 6th.  Dr. Kanter will cover urgent medical issues, and you may reach her through Tanya during normal business hours.  You may reach Dr. Kanter for urgent matters after hours by calling our office telephone number.
 
Tanya will be out of the office the afternoon of Friday, August 9th through Monday, August 12th.

Tanya Alston has been working with Dr. Hwang as a medical assistant for much of Dr. Hwang’s medical career. Patients appreciate her warm personality, professionalism, patient-centered focus and adept technical skills.
